His life

Davide Caso is a visual artist born in Sardinia in 2003. His love for art began in early childhood and led him to attend art high school, where he graduated in 2022. In January 2023, inspired by other emerging artists, Davide began sharing his creative process on social media, marking the first steps of his professional journey.

A turning point

The year 2024 became a turning point: a time of personal growth, emotional exploration, and artistic discovery. During this period, Davide began to shape not only his artistic style but also the deeper purpose behind his work: to honor his mother’s strength and sacrifices.

A story of struggle

In 2016, following his parents’ separation, Davide (still just a child) discovered alongside his mother that his father, who had abandoned them, had also left behind an overwhelming amount of debt. Debt so immense that not even a lifetime of work could erase them. From that moment on, their life became a constant battle, facing courts, lawyers, and an indifferent system that offered no real solution. Through it all, his mother gave everything she had to raise him.

The heart of his Art

This painful chapter is at the heart of Davide’s art. His drawings often explore themes of abandonment, injustice, and the silent resilience of those left behind. His work gives voice to unspoken truths and transforms suffering into something powerful and human.

The portraits Davide creates are exclusively of women, a tribute to the maternal figure that has always been present in his life. Through these portraits, he honors the strength and pain of a mother who has endured unimaginable hardships. The spirit of this mother, her strength and love, seem to infuse Davide’s own artistic journey, making each piece a personal reflection of a mother’s unyielding devotion.

His dream

Through his art, Davide is working toward a future where he can repay that debt, not only financially, but emotionally and symbolically. His dream is to one day create an organization that supports families who, like his own, have been shattered by the irresponsibility of others and left to face the consequences alone.
